visited two thirds of our polling stations and committee rooms and not yet encountered a single Labour or Lib Dem teller.

In one ward 20% of our core vote had turned out by 11.40am.

Turn out overall is certainly not low as predicted.

Do you think overall turnout will be greater than 50%?

Hard to say Andy, how can anyone know? However, given that 68% of our pledged vote in one ward had voted by 2pm, I am encouraged.

But were you out seeking votes in the run up to the election?

The results of a local election do not necessarily represent party results, I have voted for the individuals who I know and respect, irrespective of their party.
