Have deliberately mis-led people today.

Which is a shame. Until today it was the only news channel I trusted, not anymore.

During their news round up they had a full screen picture of me with the words ‘claimed £18,000 for second home whilst only owning one’.

All day I telephoned to tell them that since my status became single I don’t in fact own any homes, I rent two. The second of which is paid for by the ACA and the other by me.

It made no difference. The truth did not make good television.

Poor Nad. You know very well that the Meeja NEVER let facts get into the way of a good story. I get the feeling that more than a few pro-choicers are taking the chance to put the boot in. Most journos have no honour themselves and therefore believe that those who try to follow a code of conduct are hypocrits. There are a lot of people out here who believe in you. Please keep going.

Someone said your honesty shines like a beacon, I second that.

...of which only one is relevent and necessary to your work as an MP. The other is for purely personal use.

Trust the BBC. The others are false prophets.

Nadine perhaps you could clarify a fact for me? You have just stated in your blog that you don't own a house, but rent two houses. Why in the House of Commons publications under Register of Members' Interests are you shown under Land and Property as receiving rental income from a house in Gloucestershire, and owning a holiday home in South Africa? This register is dated the 6th of May 2009. It may be that the register is wrong? Could you please confirm if this is the case.

I think Nadine was reading my mind as she answered my last question on her next blog as I was typing my question on this one. That register needs updating. I wonder how many other entries are wrong in there too.

I wouldn't trust any of the main news outlets really, their 24 hour story cycle and desire for ratings is bad enough. Their reporting of 'pop science', wikipedia innacuracies and press releases is even worse. Ho hum. Still it seems my previous comment on your expenses has gotten lost in the ether. Why have you abstained from all votes on a transparent parliament, thus allowing your fellow MP's to get away with all this?

Well Sky news has lost quite a bit of it's reputation lately. First was the 'huge' breaking story of Prince Harry calling a friend by what many thought was just a friendly term between army buddies. I can understand the story, but to be saturated with it hour after hour. The other was the minute by minute filming of Jade Goody's funeral. For crying out loud Sky is meant to be an international news organisation not some celeb magazine tv station. Don't worry the truth will come out eventually, and then you will be able to give them the 2 fingered salute if you want to.

Come on Sky News, The Sun and the Times are the only professionals in Journalism. BBC is run by Far-Left loons who have bias reporting in their veins, examples there Anti-Israeli, Pro Palestinan Terrorists which is clear to see from any report they do on the middle east. Second there Pro-Obama which was clear in their election coverage and smeared Sarah Palin and the Republican Party. Sky News simply is the best at what it does.
